Let's Work Together!

Happy Wednesday friends!

Happy March! I wanted to share with you all that I am opening up 2 spots for this month for 1:1 clients. If you are needing someone to hold you accountable and help you with blogging, branding, social media, emailing, and content then reach out to me and let’s work together! I love working with entrepreneurs and small business to really level up their social media and how they showcase their brand or business.

I’ve learned that if you are trying to level up in your business then you need someone to help you, be there for you and hold you accountable. Having a coach is key, I myself have invested in resources and coaching to better myself and my business and I can’t wait to help more people do the same!

If you are interested in working together, please check out my contact form and let me know how I can help you!

Classic Girly Valentine's Look

Happy almost Valentine's Day! I'm sharing my favorite Valentine's Day look below with you all! I love super girly looks for V-Day especially pink and white and of course I had to add heart shaped balloons <3 This is more of a day time look and to dress it up I added some heels and classic accessories. Both the top and skirt I found at Loft for killer prices...Loft online is my go to for a good deal, you can almost always count on an extra percentage off already marked down prices. This top was $19 and skirt was $9! I do tend to invest in quality accessories and key pieces, because of course we all want the most for our money! My heels are from Nordstrom Rack by Halogen, my bag is Coach, and earrings Kate Spade, yes all more expensive but no I didn't pay full price for any of these items. You can ALWAYS find a great deal on designer brands you just have to look! Needless to say you don't need to spend tons to look like a million bucks! I hope you all enjoy this Valentine's inspired look!

Do you have any fun plans for Valentine's Day? What is your ideal V-day look? Let me know!

How did you get started doing your business?

After graduating from college, with a B.A. in graphic design, I worked in print production as a project manager. As a creative outlet, I started sketching and doodling more and decided creating my own cards and prints, featuring my designs, to share them with the world.

How long have you been creating these pieces?

I started creating designs at the end of 2014 and officially formed my business in January 2015. I have been in business just over two years.

What inspires your work?

I'm inspired by everything around me, but a lot of my inspiration comes from seeing the work of other creatives, being in nature, and spending time with my friends and family.

What is your goal for your business?

Hand lettering is a unique, expressive approach to design that I'm drawn to and bring me joy. I strive to create designs that are bright, positive, and help bring joy and personality to my customers and clients—whether it's brightening their home and office decor or celebrating a special event in their lives.

What would you suggest to other creatives and girl bosses that want to grow their business?

There are two main things I would recommend when starting and growing your business. First, be willing to take a leap of faith sometimes. Planning and troubleshooting is great, but at some point you have to take the jump and do what your planning to do—whether you're opening your business, adding a new product, or starting a new avenue of your business. There is no “right time.” Second, you don't have to and shouldn't do everything. Trends, business philosophies, and social media platforms come and go, but some may not be right for your business. Look at what makes the most sense for your business, your life, and your customers and it will all work out.

What is your favorite piece?

My favorite piece changes a lot as I add new designs. I love the “Oh the Places You'll Go" wood sign (https://www.etsy.com/listing/509951652/oh-the-places-youll-go-laser-cut-wood?ref=shop_home_feat_1) and the “Mocha” cupcake print (https://www.etsy.com/listing/509359428/cupcake-hand-illustrated-5x7in-mini?ref=listing-shop-header-3). The “Monstrous Salutations” card (https://www.etsy.com/listing/218562336/monstrous-salutations-card-hand-lettered?ref=shop_home_active_4) was one of my very first cards and is still a top favorite.

Happy New Year! I wanted to write a quick post about welcoming the new year and summing up 2016! In 2016 I created Lifestyle with Laramie, this venture has already been super exciting and a blessing for me! I appreciate all of you who read my blog and support me! At the end of 2016 I celebrated my 25th birthday! I can't believe I'm already a quarter of a century old! I'm sure that my 25th year on this beautiful earth is going to be the best yet! I am looking forward to building my blog as well as L Photography my other baby! Mostly I'm excited to have new adventures and meet new people and continue building my business! I hope you have a wonderful new year and cheers to all you girl bosses out there! Let me know what you all are excited for in the new year down below!

Welcome to Lifestyle with Laramie

Hi Everyone!

I wanted this first entry to be a bit of an introduction! I'm Laramie, the author and founder of Lifestyle with Laramie. I'm a 24 year old creative. I'm super inspired by everything lifestyle! I love home decor, fashion, and beauty! I'm also a photographer and the owner of L Photography so you could say art is also a big part of my life! This blog is simply a place to have fun and talk about all things lifestyle! One thing that I believe makes up some of our lifestyle is our desk space. Whether it be at work or home I believe everyone has something of a desk space, where they dedicate time to something that is important to them. that being said I believe having your own unique spin on your desk is important. No one wants to sit at a space that isn't personalized to their taste, has a cute pencil cup, and photo of their significant other. That's the best part about your desk space you can accessorize it however you like and change it whenever you like! I hope you enjoy this quick look into my desk space below! You will notice I have a love for everything metallic and Rifle Paper Co, but who doesn't? Enjoy guys!
