30, Flirty, & Thriving

It’s my 30th birthday today!

AHHHH! How did that even happen?

I’ve learned a lot in my 30 years and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for this new era in my life!

To commemorate this big birthday I want to share some of the biggest life lessons I’ve learned so far. As someone who feels like I’ve lived through several lives, lost people, loved, been hurt, made my dreams realities and everything in between there are a few big things I’ve learned so far!

Lesson 1: Love with all your heart.

Yes this could hurt you later on but loving with your whole self could be the best feeling in the world! I have the most amazing husband that I love with all my heart. I only found him after loving the wrong guys but I never felt like I didn’t try. As far as family, same thing. I never don’t tell my parents I love them, they are beyond the most special people to me. Always tell people that you love them!

Lesson 2: Be true to who you are.

I mostly understood this early on. I grew up ballroom dancing, living in a world that kids my age didn’t understand. Dancing was my first true love, something that was always true to who I am. As I’ve gotten older I’ve grown more to understand it’s ok to not like everything that everyone else likes and make the decisions that best serve you. Be you and do what you want to do!

Lesson 3: Follow your dreams, make them a reality!

Within the last few years I’ve really understood what it’s like to turn your dreams in reality. I’m living a life I never thought possible. I never thought I could work for myself and live a life I created, but here we are a little over a year into and I could never go back! I took a leap and it paid off! Make your dreams a reality, anything is possible!

Just some food for thought! Now I’m off to celebrate this day!

Icy Blue-LC Lauren Conrad 10 Year Anniversary Collection

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!

Another special holiday outfit for y’all from the LC Lauren Conrad 10 year anniversary collection! This icy blue combo is something different for me! Just like the previous outfit I don’t do a lot of sweaters paired with skirts but I’ve really been loving the combo! This beautiful ombre blue tulle skirt with the buffalo plaid sweater paired with the same glittery heels is great for Christmas and New Year’s! I absolutely love this shade of blue for winter!

The tulle is great for the holiday season and is something more fun and flirty for any social gathering! It’s a great length as well, super modest so don’t need to be worrying about your skirt all night! The sweater is great paired with anything and is again super soft and just so cozy! The heels go with everything, a staple for the holidays and all year long!

I hope you all have the best Christmas holiday with your loved ones! I have a special blog post coming this Saturday for my birthday! See you then!

xoxo

Pretty in Pink-LC Lauren Conrad 10 Year Anniversary Collection

More holiday outfits coming at ya right now! I’m sharing some looks over the next few weeks that can be taken from Christmas and holiday season into New Year’s events and parties from the new, beautiful LC Lauren Conrad 10 year anniversary collection for Kohl’s! She has launched the most pretty pastel collection with the most stunning pieces, featuring tulle, silk, and sparkles, what a dream it is especially for this time of year!

This first look is pretty in pink! I’m obsessed with this blush pink silk skirt and fuzzy light pink sweater paired with champagne gold glitter heels and I threw in some pink balloons because hello it’s an anniversary collection after all! The skirt is great for this time of year even going through February for Valentine’s Day and this sweater is the most soft and cozy sweater I’ve ever owned! A must! The heels are great for holiday season with the fun pop of glitter on the heel and are also super comfortable!

If you haven’t already, RUN to Kohl’s and check out this whole collection in store or online and see all the prettiness going on! I’ll be sharing more pieces for the line next week!

xoxo
