It’s officially October and time for fall fashion! For all of you that actually get to experience fall weather these looks are more for you! I’m sharing some fun summer looks with y’all here today but I just wanted to chat about summer really quick and why I love it so much! Most FL locals hate summer because it gets so darn hot but let me tell you I love it! The snowbirds have finally gone home and it doesn’t take an hour to go a few miles anymore! I love the summer rain and fun beach days it’s something about summer that lights my soul on fire! It’s a time that feels magical, a summer daze if you will! Summer is a time for rest and relaxation, family BBQs, and fun! There’s just something about summer!

Today we’re talking summer fashion. Summer holds a special place in my heart and even though it’s SUPER hot here in FL I don’t care and I’m here to soak up the time while it’s locals only!

We are about to enter Q2 already and I’m so excited to be moving ahead and see what’s in store!
In Q1 I made the decision to hire a new business coach and she has been such a pleasure to work with and learn from. I’ve started implementing new systems and practices to better my business and show up more for my clients. I’ve been restructuring how I show up on social media as well and though I haven’t been on IG much lately I’m planning things out to be there more consistently, sometimes we all need a refresh and a reboot! Hi, that’s me!
However looking into Q2 things will be shifting and changing. We will find out if we are staying at our current place or will be considering house hunting…hard to fathom right now! I will also be accepting new clients! So if you are interested in working with me quarter 2 click HERE and fill out our preliminary survey! Today I wanted to share a review with you of the new Glo Skin Beauty Services in a Box Collection that just recently launched! First off plain and simple these services are amazing! If there is one thing you need to know that is it! They are amazing, include everything you could need, and worth the money for the box!

Glo Skin Beauty first launched boxes back in May after realizing the need for at home professional grade skin care services due to COVID shutting down spas. The boxes actually sold out in less than a week and were even featured in Vogue! As a result, they decided to relaunch the Retinol + C Smoothing box and create two new treatments, GlyPro AHA Resurfacing Peel and Bio-Renew EGF Cell Repairing Facial.
I had the honor of chatting with Esthetician and Glo Skin Beauty Global Education Ambassador and Aesthetics lead, Stephanie Scalet as she personally walked me through the steps for the peel so I knew what to expect when doing it myself. Not only was she super sweet she was thorough with the instructions as well as let me know what to expect when going through the peel process. Super helpful and informative!
Now let’s talk about the actual peel itself. I received the Retinol + C Smoothing Peel which is meant to help restore your skin’s radiance with this professional-level, ultra smoothing retinol + vitamin C treatment. The kit includes all products and accessories to perform a complete at-home peel: bringing the treatment room to your bathroom! No appointment necessary. How awesome is that?! The box had absolutely everything I could possibly have needed for my at home peel, they thought of every detail down to the tissue to blot excess product, something I so appreciate!
For those of you that love to know the steps and detailed instructions this part is for your! The box comes with clear and concise instructions for the peel, there are no guessing games here! Below you will find the exact instructions from the box:
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Cleanse face with Glycolic Resurfacing Cleanser, avoiding the eye area.
2. Saturate one 2x2 gauze pad with Hydra-Bright Pro 5 Liquid Exfoliant (use about half of the bottle). Swipe evenly all over the face, then discard the gauze pad. Allow to dry for about 30 seconds, then saturate the second 2x2 gauze pad with remaining Hydra-Bright Pro 5 Liquid Exfoliant and repeat application. Discard gauze pad and allow the face to dry.
3. Apply Renew Serum evenly to the face (use a pea size amount) and allow to dry for about 30- 60 seconds.
4. Protect sensitive areas of the face with Barrier Balm. Use cotton swabs to apply fully around each eye (encircle the entire orbital area), nostrils, lips and earlobes. Apply to any additional sensitive areas as needed.
5. Pour contents of Retinol + C Peel Boost in Mask Cup. Open by pushing up on the white top until it snaps off. Take the silver ring and pull down to break the seal, then remove entire outer silver covering. Remove the rubber stopper. Use the Mask Brush to carefully apply a thin, even layer to the face, décolleté and back of hands. It is not recommended to apply to the neck area if you have sensitive skin. Leave on skin for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, use tissue to thoroughly blot off excess product by pressing into skin (do not rub or wipe product off completely). Note: a subtle yellow cast is normal to see after blotting product. Do not apply other products to face until the next morning.
6. Cleanse face the next morning with Gentle Cream Cleanser. To enhance your peel results, apply Renew Serum 3-5 nights per week.
POST PEEL CARE TIPS • Do not vigorously rub the skin, use mechanical scrubs or pick at the skin. • Do not exercise for 24-48 hours post peel. Avoid heat, steam and humidity (especially directly to face). Do not wax or use depilatories for 7 days post peel. • Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher for a minimum of 14 days post peel.
Again I can’t recommend the Glo Skin Beauty Treatments-in-a-Box enough! I was able to take some me time and enjoy a spa service while still being in the comfort and safety of my own home! I’ve also shared a day 1 and day 5 photo below of my results, which only continue to get better! I’ve noticed a huge change in my skin, it looks brighter as well as improved mask acne I’ve been getting from wearing a mask. I’m so amazed at the level of quality and detail that is in this product! Definitely a 10 out of 10 for me!

As summer comes to close even though here in the sunshine state it’s boiling hot, I wanted to give an ode to summer as it is my favorite season next to winter! The whole year has been a bit different but summer especially was different for me and my family! Summer is the time we vacation and visit family up north which is unfortunately on the back burner until regulations change on some things. It’s been a tough season this year.
However some really exciting things have happened this summer! I hired a business coach at the start of summer and she has brought me into a new season of working for myself! This summer all within a couple of month’s Travis lost his job, started an amazing new job, and I left my job to pursue my passion, y’all it’s unreal to think this is our life right now!
So just remember no matter how tough things get there is something better coming! I promise! You just need to believe it!

We are wrapping up the apartment refresh this week here on the blog! Final room we are covering is the bathroom, another room that is super easy to refresh on a budget, think shower curtain, towels, rugs, etc. LC Lauren Conrad has such great option to refresh your bathroom and at great prices too and the quality y’all know if amazing!
I’m a lover of pastels so these pieces really spoke to me! The tropical pastel shower curtain paired with the textured hand towels and the super soft bath mat, highly recommend and again it won’t break the bank!
We live in a one bedroom apartment so when we do have friends over they use our bathroom so we really try to keep it clean and put together and these simple things make it that much nicer of a room.

Next room on our refresh list and probably one of the most easy in my opinion is the bedroom! LC Lauren Conrad has some amazing bedding options and this white quilt with matching shams is seriously the softest coziest bedding ever! The teal and white throw pillows are perfect accents to the neutral tone of the bedding and I honestly love blue tones because they are so calming!
Bedding sets are probably the easiest and most inexpensive may to refresh your bedroom! Add your own touch with the throw pillows, with color and texture!
I’m also wearing LC Lauren Conrad here, one of my favorite dress styles of hers that comes in a bunch of colors and prints and is perfect for any time of year here in FL. This would be cute with a denim jacket and some booties for fall or with sandals and a straw bag for summer! This would definitely be a staple dress that I recommend you grab!

Long time no talk! I took a bit of a hiatus for a bit as I hired a business coach a few months ago to help me take my business to the next level so I’ve been really dedicating so much time and energy to building the blog and offerings to benefit y’all even more! With that being said I will share more about all of this later and some big changes I’m making!
Today I wanted to share part 1 of my apartment refresh that LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s helped me with! As we have all been staying home more and focusing on improving our space I teamed up with LC Lauren Conrad on a fun refresh that you too can do to your home or apartment!
First off is the living room. Let’s be honest we probably spend most of our time in the living room when we are home and this beautiful LC Lauren Conrad Rug really brought the space together and the rug is such great quality and very soft! I love the colors too and can say enough good things about this rug for the space! The brand offers several different rugs all unique and very different than anything I’ve seen so needless to say I’m impressed!
So next time your want to refresh your living area think of changing out the throw pillows or the rug as they are quick and decently inexpensive things to change! A rug really helps define a space and in an apartment it really helps make it feel more homey!
I’ve also been obsessed with this outfit also from LC Lauren Conrad as it’s still very hot here in Florida and shorts and light weight tops is where it’s at! I have these shorts and this top in multiple colors and they are definitely staples for me! Great quality and signature pieces that I can’t recommend enough as well!

Summer fashion is headed your way but I have another cute spring dress from LC Lauren Conrad that is cute for spring and summer. Y’all know I love soft pastels and this light yellow is something a little different for me! I love the balloon sleeve detail and floral print paired with these super sweet block heels and the cutest wicker heart bag. I love this for something a little more fancy, again great for weddings or brunch.
Y’all know I love dresses for spring and summer, I practically live in them because it is just to hot in Florida to bother with anything else. This is is another super light easy to wear fit, as we get more into summer you’ll definitely see more bold colors and prints from me as that’s what I love for summer! Maxi and t-shirt dresses to as well as graphic T’s y’all know I love my t-shirts!
