I’m sharing some fun summer looks with y’all here today but I just wanted to chat about summer really quick and why I love it so much! Most FL locals hate summer because it gets so darn hot but let me tell you I love it! The snowbirds have finally gone home and it doesn’t take an hour to go a few miles anymore! I love the summer rain and fun beach days it’s something about summer that lights my soul on fire! It’s a time that feels magical, a summer daze if you will! Summer is a time for rest and relaxation, family BBQs, and fun! There’s just something about summer!

Today we’re talking summer fashion. Summer holds a special place in my heart and even though it’s SUPER hot here in FL I don’t care and I’m here to soak up the time while it’s locals only!
A must have for summer in my closet though is definitely a little white dress or two! I’m sharing one of my favorites from LC Lauren Conrad today with some cute accessories! Y’all know I love LC and her brand because it’s size inclusive and so feminine and girly and that really speaks to my style!

It’s been a minute but I feel like I’m finally getting everything under control…SLOWLY haha
This post might be a little long and a bit of a ramble but here we go life updates and what’s been happening-
Around the last week of Jan this year I started on a health and wellness journey, and committing to it! Now almost 4 months in this is something I can never see changing. I hit the gym 4-5x a week and it has improved my mental and physical health immensely, I know that’s not surprising!
To add to that I promised myself that this year I would go back to dance, I’m back to West Coast Swing Classes and will be adding ballroom dance back in as well. This is a long story as to my whole experience in dance so that blog post will come at some point. I’m just so happy to be back to what I love the most! Dance is a HUGE part of who I am.
I’ve also committed to taking care of myself this year so self care is a real thing. I carve out time once a month to get a facial and beauty services to take care of my skin and make me feel my best! This has been huge for me as well! I’ve never viewed these things as a necessity but this is something I now can’t live without!
As for business I’ve been on the up and up this year and I’m so grateful for that! When I quit my 9-5 job in 2020 I didn’t know if I would ever be in this place where I’m not chasing the bag and trying to do more and make more. While I of course have goals I want to hit this year I’m prioritizing working with clients that see the value in my services and who I get along with, GAME CHANGER!
This year I’m really focused on doing me and what makes me happy, just these things alone have helped me greatly. I feel like me for the first time in a long time and it’s just getting better! My word of 2023 is CHANGE and there has been so much of it already and I can’t wait to see what’s next but my focus: My Health, My Wealth, and My Happiness :)

It’s been a while but I wanted to catch you up and give you some life updates! The holidays were extremely busy and we had quit a few life changes mixed into the last month of 2022 so I took a step back from social to focus on business.
In December Travis was let go from his job in mortgage, if you’re in that industry you get it, he’s making some career changes and helping me while I’m building my business A LOT! So needless to say we are working a lot right now building something that will provide us a lot of freedoms in the future!
Fast forward to the new year, my word for the year is CHANGE as there are many changes I’m hoping to make and see come to fruition this year! I’m focused strongly on my business and creating a healthier and more balanced lifestyle!
As we start to head into February already, wow! I’ll be bringing you all more lifestyle and fashion content along with some business tips and strategies that I’m loving!

I’m sure most of you by now are pulling out fall décor and fall sweaters but we are still melting here in Florida! So I’m not saying goodbye to summer just yet, with my fashion anyways! This outfit is a perfect summer into fall without being full fall! Everything you see if from LC Lauren Conrad except my French blue scarf from Zestt Organics that can be worn a ton of ways! Their pieces are some of my favorites from fall and you’ll be seeing more of them here on the blog and over on the feed!

I’m so exited to share the second part of this collaboration with Wayfair! I’m so inspired by coastal vides and clean lines so this outdoor set and outdoor umbrella is the perfect combination! We will be adding more of the items from the mood board below as we go but we are so excited with how it looks in the space!
Wayfair: Are there any color palettes or trends that are really speaking to you right now?
I love classic and timeless colors. I love black and white stripe and palm prints for accents but as far as furniture you can see here I love the coastal vibes of white and the teak wood.
Wayfair: What is your advice for maximizing outdoor living space for those who may only have a smaller patio or balcony?
We’ve had both now, places with smaller outdoor living spaces and larger spaces and it’s all about not overwhelming the space. Don’t cram in bigger pieces if they can’t fit. For a smaller space I love an outdoor rug with a cute bistro set and some string lights.
Wayfair: Sunshine and blue skies have us daydreaming about outdoor dining! What are your favorite style tips for alfresco tablescapes and entertaining?
I love an umbrella if you are dining outside along with fresh flowers on the table and playing with colors to enhance your outdoor pieces. If you have space I love seeing a longer table and chairs for dining and maybe a few other areas with chairs or a bench for seating and some games as well!
Wayfair: Which pieces do you recommend investing in for your outdoor space? Which pieces do you change out to keep your oasis fresh and on-trend?
I would definitely recommend investing in a set as we did with plenty of seating available and this set is great to change up the configuration. I love to change out pillows and décor based on season and trends!

I’m due to give you a summer update and spill some tea!
I was supposed to be sharing a fun vacation blog post with you today as we were supposed to be on vacation last week in Michigan and unfortunately we had to cancel very last minute as our little pup Chewy got sick and we couldn’t leave him :(
So we did our best to have a staycation and still give ourselves a much needed break and this week we are back to the grind! All this to say after many conversations with Travis and looking into some things I will be shifting some things in my business.
What does this mean? Well this means if you would like to hire me as your social media manager you can still do so but I only have two spots left as I’m only taking on 5 clients per quarter. You will also be seeing more blogging and fashion content mixed back into my posts as I expand on some other passions and platforms!
