I had the pleasure of working with Wayfair again on a new and updated at home office space for myself. I’ve been loving the light wood and white for that coastal feel! I’m still working on the artwork and the accessories but I absolutely love the desk, wardrobe rack, and the chair perfect for my blogging and working from home.

Y’all know I love all the options Wayfair offers and the prices can’t be beat! I needed very specific items and they had exactly what I was looking for! Everything came well packaged and easy to assemble and I absolutely love my work space!

I’m sure you all can relate but I love to refresh my space and we recently moved a few months ago and wanted to brighten up our living room without immediately investing in new furniture. Our quick and easy solution…a new rug!

Our new place doesn’t have any carpet in any of the rooms so we had already grabbed a rug from Wayfair for our bedroom so when we determined our living room was looking so dark we thought again to find a new rug on Wayfair to brighten the space up. Mid Century Modern Bedroom Details with AllModern

Happy Wednesday friends! I have a fun bedroom décor post for y’all today. sponsored by AllModern. We are almost finished getting our new apartment together and putting the finishing touches on our place. That being said we grabbed some mid century modern décor pieces from AllModern to put the finishing touches on our bedroom. We went with the Huron 26” Table Lamp to put on our nightstands and they are the perfect height especially if you have a taller headboard like we do, they really fill in all that space on either side of the bed. We got them in the brushed nickel and they really compliment the gray and white tones in our bedroom. We also added the Amarion Cotton Geometric Throw Pillow to our bed for a little color and subtle pattern and we love how those touches brought the whole room together! Small Dining Space Inspiration with AllModern

This week I’m sharing something so exciting for me! I’ve always loved furniture and home décor and love sharing my inspiration with y’all! Well this year especially, I’ve changed and rearranged everything in our place countless times due to COVID and spending more time at home. There is nothing better to me than loving the space you call home!

As we head into holiday season, whether you are traveling or spending more time at home we know that friends and family will still be gathering around the dinner table to enjoy each others company. What better time than now to consider a dining room refresh? Travis and I are always focused on maximizing our space as we live in an apartment. That being said I teamed up with AllModern to pick out some pieces I feel would really be great in a smaller eating/dining space and also be chic and fun!

Below you can shop the pieces that truly inspire me for our dining space. I suggest looking at glass or round tables to keep your space open and give a good flow to the room. Glass pieces make the space appear larger and who doesn’t like that? You’ll also notice a lot of the furniture pieces are neutral tones as I really like to play with color in the art and accessories in the room which is why I chose this art with a punch of pink! Finally to elevate your room I like to incorporate metallic and textures which you can see in the lighting and the sideboard which as a plus adds extra storage in your space!

I chose a lot of pieces that you can play up in different ways since a lot of the pieces are neutral colors. This gives you a lot of room to play or change up the space down the road if you choose to change your color scheme at least your main pieces are timeless and will go with tons of different color options when it comes to art and accessories.

Also with small dining spaces try to really maximize your space with the pieces you choose. For us a place for 4 people to all eat together is really important. The pieces I chose allow for 4 people to always be able to eat together. If you use a bench you might also be able to give more seating and slide it under the table when finished to save space.

You can also use sideboards or tables that provide more storage to give you room for extra things. This is a perfect solution if you need more room for dishes or special items for holidays, like table décor, napkins, table runners anything like that.

LC Lauren Conrad- Apartment Refresh Pt. 3

We are wrapping up the apartment refresh this week here on the blog! Final room we are covering is the bathroom, another room that is super easy to refresh on a budget, think shower curtain, towels, rugs, etc. LC Lauren Conrad has such great option to refresh your bathroom and at great prices too and the quality y’all know if amazing!

I’m a lover of pastels so these pieces really spoke to me! The tropical pastel shower curtain paired with the textured hand towels and the super soft bath mat, highly recommend and again it won’t break the bank!

We live in a one bedroom apartment so when we do have friends over they use our bathroom so we really try to keep it clean and put together and these simple things make it that much nicer of a room.
